How I Wore It :: Day to Day + Kate

I usually take photos for What I Wore when I am dressed up for an appointment, or have a lunch meeting or party to attend; in between those times I am super casual in one of three things: an item of clothing from my line, white jean shorts with a brightly/neon colored shirt, or exercise clothes, with a neon sports bra, obvi.

Biz snapped these photos a few days ago of me in my day to day clothes. Nothing remarkable...except that my new best friend is in the photo: her name is Kate.

I know what you're thinking. "Sheridan, you have reached a new low. Your best friend is a bag?" Yes. Yes it is.

Those who read my blog regularly know how head over heels I am for my Mia Bossi diaper bag. {I talk about it here and here}. I have searched high and low for a worthy competitor and could never find any that came remotely close...until now.

Readers, meet Kate. Kate, readers. You will soon become the best of friends, too. Kate is chic. Kate is stylish. Kate, much like a mother, can carry 51,000 things at once with a child under each arm at the same time. She doubles as a diaper bag, a gym bag, an overnight bag and everything in between, and I can't find enough things to fill her pockets - there are TEN inside alone - never thought I'd see the day!

Manufactured by MZ Wallace, the quality is impeccable and the details are to die for. Um hello red lining! Hi extra shoulder strap! Where do I put my keys and cell phone for easy access? One of the small front pockets, or the detachable purse inside. What about flip flops so that I don't get other things in the bag dirty? There's a big pocket on the back for that. It's so pretty, what do I do when my angel pukes all over it? It's nylon which means easy cleaning in a snap. I like that it is not bulky like the Mia Bossi. I actually use this while running errands even if the kiddos aren't with me. The Mia Bossi is far too large to do that with. You do have to fold things to fit them in the pockets of Kate {burp cloths or onesies, for example} but that actually helps the organization level which is an area I am in need of serious assistance with. There is still plenty of room to just throw everything in and go though, if that's your style.

I tied a Crew Cuts bandana around one of the straps just for kicks - I am always tying scarves and whatnot onto things.

Had to share my new sunglasses with you all!! Given that all of my sunglasses typically get sat on, eaten by a dog or crushed to smithereens by a toddler within a month of purchase, I usually stick to shopping for them at Super Target. These were just tooooooo good to pass up, though I think Squish wears them much better than Mommy does:
